When you meet HSP’s enemy (psychopath)
HSPの人は周りの人の空気を人一倍読もうとします。いわゆる空気読めない人の反対です。一方で、人の心にずかずか入ってくる人は大の苦手と思います。今日は以前、自分が巡り合ったとても相性が悪かった人（A氏）を紹介します。
HSP people try to read the atmosphere of the people around them more than others. They are the opposite of people who can’t read the atmosphere. Therefore, HSP are not very good at people who try to get into their minds. Today, I would like to introduce a person (Mr. A) that are not compatible with me before.

しかし仕事で付き合うようになっていつしか、「この人の言っていることは矛盾だらけでは？」と思うようになりました。もう少し付き合ってみると明らかに虚偽の発言を繰り返していることに気づきました。会議などで気に入らない人を口撃するときの執拗さは、常軌を逸しているように見えました。大変不幸なことに私はこの人に目をつけられてしまいました。もう一人の同僚も私のように目を付けられ、毎日のように酷い言葉の圧迫を受けるようになりました。

すごい厳しい上司とサイコパスは似ているように思えるかもしれません。私は厳しい上司に罵声を浴びせられた時期もありました。しかしサイコパスの言うことは厳しい上司とは明らかに一線を画していました。まさにサイコパスの定義通り、良心のかけらもない言い方をしていました。あっという間に私は追い詰められました。
A very strict boss and a psychopath may seem similar. There was a time when I was shouted down by a strict boss. However, what psychopaths say is clearly different from what strict bosses say. He was the very definition of a psychopath, and he spoke without a shred of conscience. In no time at all, I was cornered.
サイコパスと出会ったらどう対処する？

当然私は、本やインターネットで解決策を探しだしました。そして調べれば調べるほどに、A氏がサイコパスであるという確信を強めていきました。ある程度調べた段階で私は愕然としました。記載されている内容を読むと、「一旦、サイコパスに目をつけられてしまったら、逃げる以外に解決策は無い」と記載されているではないですか・・私はどんどん追い詰められていきました。ただ私も手をこまねいていただけではありません。他の部署の上司や会社の上層部の方にも現状を説明し、助けを求めました。
Naturally, I started looking for solutions in books and on the Internet. The more I researched, the more I became convinced that Mr. A was a psychopath. After a certain amount of research, I was astonished. When I read the contents of the article, I found that it said, “Once you are spotted by a psychopath, there is no solution but to run away. I didn’t just sit on my hands either. I explained the situation to my supervisors in other departments and to the company’s upper management, and asked for help.
結果,私は、A氏から逃げ切ることができました。上層部がA氏の異常ぶりに気づき、私を他の部署に異動させてくれたのです。しかし私はとても運が良かったケースだと思います。実際にサイコパスは議論力は凄まじく、助けようとした人を狙って脅迫し、助けることを妨害しました。というわけで助ける側もよっぽど気合の入った人でないと逆にやられてしまいます。ですので、一般的には、追い詰められる前に早々に会社を辞める、学校をやめるなど逃げることが最良の策ではないかと思います。

In fact, psychopaths are very argumentative, and they target and threaten people who try to help them, preventing them from doing so. Therefore, the person who is trying to help must be very spirited or he will be beaten up. So in general, I think the best thing to do is to quit your job or quit school as soon as possible before you are cornered.
逃げるが勝ちだけど、どうしても戦う必要があるときは？

私は結局、会社を辞めることなく、逃げ切ることができました。今はA氏とは関係無く仕事をすることができています。この件で様々な人が私を助けるため、またA氏を倒すために動いてくれました。その人達の苦労を考えると感謝の言葉しかありません。しかしこの事件を冷静に振り返ってみて、唯一、サイコパスと戦う武器の存在に気づきました。ただし、HSPのような人は結局その武器を持ってもサイコパスと戦うことはおすすめしません。ただ一般の人は以下のような点が武器になりえます。

However, I don’t recommend people like HSP to fight against psychopaths even if they have that weapon after all. However, for ordinary people, the following points can be weapons.
まず第一は集団で戦うことです。一人でサイコパスを議論で破ることは絶対に不可能です。複数人で共同戦線を張り、なるべく上層部や人事部を交えて戦うことです。では集団で戦うために必要な第二のポイントがあります。それは客観的な情報です。例えばサイコパスがしゃべった会議での発言を議事録などでしっかり記録しておいてください。サイコパスは一つの会議の中では、その優れた言語能力で全く隙の無いロジックを組んで口撃してきますが、ある程度長期的な視点（〰数か月）では全く支離滅裂な発言をしています。例えば、集団で戦う仲間を集う際は、こういった証拠をもとに説得すれば仲間になってくれる人が多いと思います。

You need to form a joint front with multiple people, and include upper management and HR as much as possible. Then there is a second point that is necessary to fight as a group. That is objective information. For example, keep a record of what the psychopath said in the meeting. In a single meeting, psychopaths use their superior language skills to formulate a completely seamless logic and shoot their mouths off, but from some long-term perspective (a few months in a curriculum), they make completely incoherent statements. For example, when gathering friends to fight in a group, if you persuade them based on this kind of evidence, many of them will become your friends.
議事録の他に私がとても便利なものを見つけました。それはほぼ多くの会社で入社前に実施している適正テストの結果です。適正テストにパーソナリティに関する試験も含まれています。サイコパスはそういったテストで実際に検出できるという話を聞いたことがあります。またこういったデータは人事部が管理しているでしょうから、人事部を巻き込んでサイコパスと戦うときは最高の武器になります。サイコパスはこの人は利用できるという人を見つけたらとことん利用しようと追いかけてきます。恐ろしい話ですが、HSPは彼らの恰好の標的となるでしょう。もし目をつけられてしまったら、残念ですが、逃げることが最高の解決策のようです。

The aptitude tests include personality tests. I’ve heard that psychopaths can actually be detected by such tests. Also, since these data are probably managed by the HR department, it is the best weapon to use when fighting psychopaths by involving the HR department. When psychopaths find someone they can use, they will go after them and try to take advantage of them. It’s scary, but HSPs can be a good target for them. Unfortunately, if you are spotted, the best solution seems to be to run away.
